Aon Corp Reports 8% Retreat In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Aon Corp (AON) reported earnings for third quarter that fell compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings dropped to $353 million, or $1.24 per share. This was down from $383 million, or $1.29 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.9% to $2.74 billion. This was down from $2.88 billion last year.
