Anthony (Tony) Farland Named Vice President And Senior Lender Of Community Bank Of Tri-County
WALDORF, Md., Aug. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Bank of Tri-County is pleased to announce that Anthony (Tony) Farland has been promoted to Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender, Virginia market. In this role, he is responsible for managing lenders assigned to his team including mentoring and developing team members. He is also responsible for maintaining his client base in King George County while building that portfolio through his and the efforts of the lenders.

Mr. Farland joined the bank in 2011. Prior to joining Community Bank, Mr. Farland held several positions at PNC Bank N.A. including Business Banker, Relationship Manager and Credit Officer. Mr. Farland is currently pursuing a degree from American Military University; he has completed various courses through the American Bankers Association and the Center for Financial Training. He is actively involved in Charles County and King George County where he volunteers for organizations such as the Rappahonnock United Way and Ducks Unlimited.
