Amira Nature Foods Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Amira Nature Foods Ltd. (ANFI) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $17.6 million or $0.49 per share, compared to $16.8 million or $0.46 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $18.6 million or $0.52 per share.

Revenue for the fourth quarter rose 21.6% to $226.8 million from to $186.6 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.49 per share on revenue of $217.26 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking forward, the company forecast double digit revenue growth for fiscal 2016 and maintained its long-term guidance of $1 billion of revenue.
