Alon Blue Square Israel Posts Q2 Loss - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Alon Blue Square Israel Ltd. (BSI) reported that its second-quarter net loss attributable to Equity holders of the Company was NIS 55.86 million, compared to net income of NIS 15.25 million in the same quarter last year. Loss per ordinary share was NIS 0.85, compared to net income of NIS 0.23 in the previous year.

Loss from continuing operation amounted to NIS 45.9 million or U.S. $12.7 million compared to an income of NIS 34.4 million in the second quarter of 2012.

Revenues, including government levies, in the second quarter of 2013 amounted to NIS 3.695 billion or US$1.021 billion compared to revenues of NIS 4.018 billion in the comparable quarter last year, a decrease of 8.0% mainly from Dor Alon.
