NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance California Municipal Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: AKP), a registered closed‑end investment company, today announced earnings for the Fund's third fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2017.

Total net assets of the Fund* on July 31, 2017 were $161,343,269, as compared with $158,949,582 on April 30, 2017 and $168,390,194 on July 31, 2016.  On July 31, 2017, the net asset value per share of common stock was $15.37 based on 8,554,668 shares of common stock outstanding.

For the period May 1, 2017 through July 31, 2017, total net investment income was $1,187,303 or $0.14 per share of common stock. The total net realized and unrealized gain was $2,520,482 or $0.29 per share of common stock for the same period.
