Aldeyra Therapeutics To Discontinue Noninfectious Anterior Uveitis Program

(RTTNews) - Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc. (ALDX) said that it will discontinue noninfectious Anterior Uveitis program. The statistical significance was not achieved for the primary or secondary endpoints in the noninfectious anterior uveitis SOLACE Trial, due to high rates of disease resolution in vehicle-treated patients, but activity of reproxalap was consistently greater than that of vehicle.

Meanwhile, the company said it plans to prioritize phase 3 ocular pipeline programs in dry eye disease, allergic conjunctivitis, and proliferative vitreoretinopathy.

ALDX closed Monday regular trading at $7.09, down $0.34 or 4.51 percent.
