Airgas Splits Its North Central Distribution Region In To Two

(RTTNews) - Airgas, Inc. (ARG), a supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, and related products, Thursday said it has reorganized its North Central distribution region into a redefined North Central region and a new Midwest region.

"Through both solid organic growth and acquisitions, particularly the recent acquisition of The Encompass Gas Group, the North Central region's annual revenues have nearly quadrupled over the past ten years, making it one of Airgas' largest regions by revenue," says Shaun Powers, President of Airgas' North Division

Pamela Swanson, President of North Central region from 2009, has been appointed as President for the redefined North Central region, which will cover northern Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska

For the Midwest region, Rick Keefer has been named President. Keefer had previously served as President of The Encompass Gas Group, a company Airgas acquired in November 2013. The region will cover Indiana, northern Illinois, and southern Wisconsin, including the Madison and Milwaukee metropolitan areas.

The headquarters of the redefined North Central region is Appleton, Wisconsin and for the Midwest region, it is in the Chicagoland area.
