Air Berlin Q3 Revenue Decline

(RTTNews) - Air Berlin PLC (AIBEF.PK) reported pre-tax earnings in the third quarter of 2015 of EUR 60.5 million, versus EUR 50.4 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The net result in the quarter was EUR 56.2 million, versus EUR 49.9 million in the year-ago quarter. Earnings per share improved to EUR 0.17 from EUR 0.15 in the previous financial year's quarter.

Group revenue declined to EUR 1.301 billion from EUR 1.312 billion in the last year quarter. EBIT amounted to EUR 81.4 million, versus EUR 74.9 million in the last year quarter. EBITDAR increased from EUR 235.1 million to EUR 256.1 million. The financial result in the third quarter of 2015 amounted to negative EUR 20.9 million.

As of 30 September 2015, Air Berlin' total assets amounted to EUR 1.69 billion, its total equity amounted to negative EUR 544.0 million and its net debt amounted to EUR 787.0 million.
