Flextronics International Ltd. (FLEX) gained 3 percent to $9.30. The company's fourth quarter results topped Wall Street view and guided first quarter results in line with market view.

Yelp, Inc. (YELP) rose nearly 5 percent to $61.06. The company's first quarter net loss narrowed from the year-ago quarter and also topped Street view. Net revenue grew 66 percent and also came above the consensus estimate. Average monthly unique visitors grew 30 percent and average monthly mobile unique visitors improved 52 percent year over year. The company forecast second quarter revenue in line with market view and raised its full year 2014 net revenue outlook.

Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) gained over 10 percent to $21.91. The company's first quarter profit plunged from the year-ago quarter, but topped analysts' estimate. Revenues decreased from the same period a year earlier, but came above the consensus estimate. The company also raised its fiscal year 2014 earnings per share outlook, above market view.

Decliners:

MetLife, Inc. (MET) was down more than 2 percent to $51.00 as the company's first quarter results missed analysts' expectations.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of Boston Beer Co. Inc. (SAM) was halted. The company's first quarter earnings were higher than in the year-ago quarter, but missed Street view. Net revenue increased 35 percent, mainly due to core shipment growth of 32 percent, and came above the consensus estimate. The company backed its 2014 earnings per share outlook, which is below current consensus estimate.
