AFPM Statement on Court Ruling for 2016 RVOs

WASHINGTON, July 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Statement from Chet Thompson, President and CEO of American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers in response to today's ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on the 2016 RVOs:

"Today's decision is disappointing, and it further underscores the need for meaningful and comprehensive reform of the Renewable Fuel Standard.

"We are confident that EPA has additional authority they can exercise to address the blendwall and other challenges until this flawed program is either repealed or significantly reformed. The current policy is not sustainable and must be addressed by Congress to protect the best interests of the American consumer."
