AECOM Plans US$1.6 Bln Senior Notes Offering

(RTTNews) - AECOM Technology Corp. (ACM) said Wednesday that it plans to offer US$1.6 billion in aggregate principal amount of its senior notes maturing in 2022 and 2024.

The senior notes will be issued in a private offering to qualified institutional buyers.

The company said it plans to use the net proceeds from the offering of the senior notes, together with cash on hand and borrowings under its new senior secured credit facilities, to repay certain existing indebtedness and to fund all of the cash consideration of the proposed acquisition of URS Corp. pursuant to the merger agreement dated July 11, 2014.
