Adam Lunzer of RBF Honored by Urban Land Institute

Adam Lunzer, P.E. at RBF Consulting (RBF), a company of Michael Baker Corporation (Baker) (NYSE Amex: BKR), was honored by Urban Land Institute (ULI) with the 2012 Emergent Leadership Award.  Mr. Lunzer, project engineer in Land Development/Urban Land, received this award within the Engineering category.  The award was presented by the ULI Orange County/Inland Empire Young Leaders Group (YLG) at their annual award event, held March 22 in Irvine, California. The Emergent Leadership Award recognizes young real estate professionals that epitomize the ULI Young Leaders Group mission "to cultivate and engage ULI members under age 35 who are the next generation of leaders, to innovate, effect and improve the future of responsible land use." 

Mr. Lunzer received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2007 and became a Professional Engineer (PE) in 2011.  He was selected by ULI’s Young Leaders Group for an Emergent Leadership Award in part for his leadership and innovation on notable projects such as the Tentative Tract Map and Master Plan for a portion of the Great Park Neighborhoods (former El Toro Marine Corps Military Base) in Irvine, California.  Within ULI Mr. Lunzer is actively involved in the Young Leaders Group, Edge Development Initiative Council, and Pro Bono Technical Assistance Panel.  He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Chi Epsilon National Civil Engineering Honors Society.

Mr. Lunzer was honored alongside six young professionals for leadership in Architecture, Planning, Capital Markets, Professional Services, Property Development and the Larry Webb Leadership Award. In 2011, Paul Martin, P.E., T.E., at RBF received this award.
