ACE Appoints Charles Brooks Global Operations Officer

The ACE Group announced today the appointment of Charles Brooks as Global Operations Officer, effective September 6.

Mr. Brooks will be responsible for a range of operational areas across the organization including information technology, real estate and facilities, contingency planning and business continuity, purchasing, workflow management and general business efficiencies. He will report to Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACE Limited.

Mr. Brooks joins ACE from Aetna, where he was head of M&A Services for IT and Operations. Prior to his service with Aetna, Mr. Brooks held senior operations and systems positions with Travelers, Accenture and Prudential. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brooks served as a captain in the United States Army. He is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and holds a masters degree in business administration from Columbia University.
