Accenture To Buy Australia's BCT Solutions; Financial Terms Not Disclosed

(RTTNews) - Professional services company Accenture (ACN) Wednesday announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire BCT Solutions, an Australian privately held technology consultancy. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

BCT specialises in Command and Control, Cybersecurity, Cyber Defence services and expertise. It supports the delivery of Defence, National Security and Public Safety mission-support capabilities.

Accenture said it has worked to support the objectives of Australia's government for more than 20 years. The company expects the acquisition of BCT will complement Accenture's Defence, National Security and Public Safety capabilities in Australia.
