Accenture To Acquire Mackevision - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Accenture (ACN) announced an agreement to acquire Stuttgart, Germany-based Mackevision, a global producer of 3D-enabled and immersive product content. Financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.

Mackevision, which was founded in 1994, has a team of more than 500 employees and has offices in Munich and Hamburg as well as in the U.S., United Kingdom, China, South Korea and Japan. Mackevision has worked on the HBO Series "Game of Thrones" - for which it was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Visual Effects.

Accenture expects this acquisition to add state-of-the-art visualization capabilities to Accenture Interactive's digital services portfolio.
