2018 Volkswagen Atlas expected to arrive this spring at Walker Volkswagen

As the largest crossover to enter the lineup, the Volkswagen Atlas offers three rows of seating and accommodations for up to seven passengers. This is beneficial for large or active families who participate in carpooling to after-school activities.

With the larger overall dimensions comes a more spacious cargo capacity. When the second and third rows of seats are collapsed, the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas provides a cargo volume measuring 96.8 cubic-feet, which can fit lots of luggage, gear and merchandise.

Drivers will have two engine options with the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas. The base option is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which delivers 238-horsepower. HIgher trims of the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas may be outfitted with a 280-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. Volkswagen's specially-engineered 4MOTION all-wheel drive is available for the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas to provide extra power and traction on rain-soaked or snow-covered roads.
