Resources Connection Results Miss Estimates

(RTTNews) - Resources Connection Inc (RECN) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $8.1 million or $0.21 per share compared with $6.9 million or $0.18 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter declined to $148.8 million from $156.8 million in the prior year, when it benefited from an extra week, the company said.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.22 per share on revenues of $150.3 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
