Nidec Motor Corporation Files Patent Infringement Action Against Broad Ocean

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nidec Motor Corporation ("NMC") today filed a patent infringement action against three Broad Ocean companies (Zhongshan Broad Ocean Motor Co., Ltd., Broad Ocean Technologies, LLC, and Broad Ocean Motor LLC). The lawsuit (case #: 4:13-cv-01895) was filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and alleges that certain of Broad Ocean's electronically controlled blower motors for use in HVAC applications infringe multiple patents owned by NMC.
