Clarcor Q2 Profit Meets Estimate; Revenue Misses; Cuts FY15 Outlook

(RTTNews) - Clarcor Inc. (CLC) reported net income for the second quarter of $38.5 million or $0.76 per share, compared to $34.6 million or $0.68 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Net sales for the second quarter rose 3% to $399.8 million from $386.6 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.76 per share on revenue of $411.62 million for the second quarter.

For the fiscal year 2015, the company now forecasts net sales of $1.59 billion and $1.62 billion and earnings of $3.00 to $3.15 per share. Previously, the company forecast net sales of $1.62 billion to $1.65 billion and earnings of $3.15 to $3.35 per share.

Analysts currently expect the company to earn $3.13 per share on revenue of $1.62 billion for the fiscal year 2015.
