MEXICO: Peña Nieto Appoints New Finance Minister And Director Of Pemex

(RTTNews) - Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto announced changes in his cabinet and the state-owned oil company Pemex. José Antonio González Anaya, the former Pemex CEO, is the new Finance Minister.

He replaces José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, who resigned his position for a personal project.

"I thank you for your dedication and your commitment, and I wish you every success in the project you have decided to undertake," said the president to Kuribreña.

Also, Peña Nieto announced that he appointed Carlos Alberto Medina Treviño as Pemex's general director of Pemex. Before, Treviño was Pemex's executive director of Administration and Services at Petróleos Mexicanos.
