London, 18 January 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service today affirmed the debt ratings of Legal & General Group Plc (L&G; senior unsecured debt at A3). Moody's also affirmed the Aa3 Insurance Financial Strength Rating (IFSR) of Legal & General Assurance Society Ltd. (LGAS) and the A2 IFSR for Legal & General Insurance Limited. The short term rating for commercial paper of Legal & General Finance PLC was also affirmed at Prime-2. All the ratings carry a stable outlook. A complete list of ratings follows below.
