Frankfurt am Main, December 01, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service, (Moody's) has today placed on review for downgrade the A3 senior unsecured ratings of E.ON SE (E.ON) and of its guaranteed subsidiaries, E.ON International Finance B.V. and E.ON Beteiligungen GmbH, following the announcement of a new corporate strategy, comprising the plan to split the group into two independent companies via a spin-off of the majority of a new, publicly listed company and to fix dividend payments for 2014 and 2015. Concurrently, Moody's has affirmed the group's Prime-2 short-term ratings.
