Tetra Tech Awarded $650 Mln USAID Contract - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Tetra Tech, Inc. (TTEK) Friday said it has been awarded a $650 million multiple-award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity or IDIQ contract by the U.S. Agency for International Development or USAID to support the improvement of urban infrastructure in developing countries.

The company noted that more than half of the world's population live in urban areas and face increased risks from climate change, as well as health and economic impacts from the lack of adequate water and infrastructure services.

Tetra Tech will support USAID in providing technical solutions to improve the delivery of water, transportation, and sanitation services in urban areas.

The company will also work with local governments to strengthen their ability to prepare for and respond to natural disasters, improve environmental management practices, and increase their resiliency to the impacts of climate change.
