Sud Aviation Services awarded with its Design Organisation Approval by the European Aviation Safety Agency

Paris, 19 June 2015 - Assystem, a European leader in the field of aerospace engineering, today announced that its subsidiary Sud Aviation Services has been awarded with a Design Organisation Approval (DOA) by the European Aviation Safety Agency. This represents a further key stage following the award of its Continuing Airworthiness Organisation (CAMO) approval earlier in the year.

Sud Aviation Services now offers a single entry point to airlines and aircraft lessors that must take delivery of and return aircraft (commercial planes, business jets, etc.) during aircraft transitions. This comprehensive service offering includes:

• changes to cabin interiors and external livery;
• supply of parts and kits used for these modifications;
• analysis of aircraft technical records;
• aircraft physical inspections.

The new offering is unrivalled on a buoyant aerospace market, in which the global civil aircraft fleet alone is expected to double in size to 32,600 aircraft by 2034 (sources: Airbus and Boeing).
