Sinclair Announces New $150 Mln Stock Buyback Authorization
(RTTNews) - Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (SBGI) said Thursday that its Board of Directors has approved a new $150.0 million share repurchase authorization to be accessed once its existing authorization is exhausted.
Pursuant to the authorization, the company may repurchase Class A common shares, from time to time, in the open market or through private transactions.
Since its February 14 announcement, the company has repurchased about 2.5 million shares and has about $47 million of remaining capacity under its existing authorization.
