Sasol Announces New B-BBEE Ownership Structure Sasol Khanyisa

(RTTNews) - South African integrated energy and chemicals company Sasol Ltd. (SSL) Wednesday unveiled its proposed new R21 billion Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, or B-BBEE, ownership structure, Sasol Khanyisa, to be submitted for shareholder approval at the Sasol AGM later this year.

Sasol Khanyisa is intended to achieve effective direct and indirect B-BBEE ownership of at least 25 percent in Sasol South Africa, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sasol.

The Group said Sasol Khanyisa has been designed to realise upfront value creation for shareholders and long-lasting ownership of Sasol by Black South Africans through Sasol BEE Ordinary shares listed on the JSE.
