Rogers Communications Q4 Profit Drops, Revenue Up - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Rogers Communications Inc. (RCI.TO, RCI), a diversified Canadian communications and media company, Thursday said net income for the fourth quarter dropped to C$297 million from C$320 million in the prior year. Earnings per share fell to C$0.57 from C$0.62.
Adjusted earnings per share was flat with last year at C$0.69.
Operating revenue increased to C$3.366 billion from C$3.243 billion in the previous year.
Guy Laurence, President and CEO, said, "We saw a healthy acceleration in revenue growth and adjusted operating profit along with improvement in Wireless revenue and ARPU."
