Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway Selects Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager to Help Coordinate Care Delivery and Improve Patient Care Outcomes

today announced that Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway,
Rahway, NJ, has selected Eclipsys’ Sunrise
Clinical Manager™
including its integrated modules Sunrise Acute Care™,
Sunrise Pharmacy™,
Sunrise Knowledge-Based Medication Administration™
and Knowledge-Based Charting™
to help drive improved care delivery across its organization. The
Eclipsys solutions will be remotely hosted by the ISO
9001:2000-certified Eclipsys Technology Solutions Center in Mountain
Lakes, NJ.
Eclipsys’ integrated clinical solutions will
help provide clinicians at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at
Rahway with access to a patient’s up-to-date
health record across departments and facilities. Additionally, Eclipsys’
Sunrise Knowledge-Based CPOE™, adopted by
more physicians than any other in the industry, includes evidence-based
order sets that will help Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at
Rahway’s care givers drive adherence to
established organizational practices. Eclipsys’
Knowledge-Based CPOE has a user-friendly interface that allows
physicians to build their own order sets. This helps engage this key
constituent throughout the activation process, helping to ensure
high-rates of adoption.
