Partner Communications Q3 Profit Rises, Revenue Slides - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Partner Communications Co. Ltd. (PTNR), an Israeli communications operator, Wednesday said third-quarter profit rose to 40 million New Israeli Shekels or NIS from 38 million NIS last year. Earnings per share were 0.26 NIS, compared to 0.24 NIS last year.

Net revenues slipped to 1.102 billion NIS from last year's 1.118 billion NIS. Service revenues decreased 9 percent to 862 million NIS.

Cellular Average Revenue Per User or ARPU fell 10 percent to 76 NIS.

Haim Romano, CEO of Partner, said, "Similar to recent quarters, this quarter was characterized by the continued intense competition in the telecoms market which impacts on service revenues. The Company is taking a variety of measures to cope with the changing market reality and to mitigate its impact."
