Ocwen Financial Executive Chairman, William Charles Erbey, To Step Down: WSJ
(RTTNews) - Ocwen Financial Corp.'s (OCN) Executive Chairman, William Charles Erbey, is said to resign according to a legal settlement with New York's financial regulator, the reports noted. Erbey would step down by the middle of January according to a wide-ranging proposed consent order with the New York Department of Financial Services.
Further, reports added that Ocwen would pay $150 million toward New York housing programs and help to foreclosed homeowners, and name two outside directors, subject to state consultation.
