NetGear Inc. Reports 19% Increase In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - NetGear Inc. (NTGR) reported earnings for its third quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $25.91 million, or $0.76 per share. This was higher than $21.74 million, or $0.67 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.71 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 1.0% to $338.46 million. This was down from $341.89 million last year.
