iAnywhere Delivers SQL Anywhere for Microsoft Windows x64 Platforms
DUBLIN, Calif., April 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- iAnywhere Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc. , today announced that SQL Anywhere Studio(R) will fully support Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Microsoft's new 64-bit operating systems for both Intel and AMD 64-bit processors. By providing native 64-bit support, SQL Anywhere users with large databases will be able to take advantage of powerful 64-bit processing capabilities in applications that require large amounts of memory or intensive numeric calculations.
Support for 64-bit Windows is available as part of SQL Anywhere Studio V9.0.2. Developers can get started today by registering for the free 64-bit Windows version of the SQL Anywhere Studio Developer Edition at: http://www.ianywhere.com/developer_download_registration. Free trial versions of Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition are available at: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/evaluation/trial/default.mspx.
