Goodrich Announces New Roles for Executives
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Goodrich Corporation has appointed Mike Gardiner as President of its Engine Control and Electrical Power Systems business unit. Gardiner, formerly President of the Power Systems business, will report to Curtis Reusser, Segment President, Electronic Systems. Gardiner replaces Marc Duvall, who is joining Goodrich's Aerostructures business as Vice President and General Manager. Duvall will report to Greg Peters, President, Aerostructures.
Commenting on the changes, Goodrich Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Marshall Larsen said, "Marc and Mike are seasoned executives who have led their businesses to improved results, and I welcome each of them to their new roles. Marc's experience in the Engine Control and Electrical Power Systems unit is a great fit for our Aerostructures team as they continue their significant growth and expansion worldwide. In addition, Mike's experience in a variety of roles including program management, engineering and operations provides a solid foundation for him as he transitions into his new position."
Duvall joined Goodrich in 2005 as President of Goodrich's Engine Controls business, bringing over 20 years of experience working for large Fortune 500 companies. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering as well as an MBA from Arizona State University.
Gardiner joined Goodrich, then Lucas Aerospace, in 1985, and has held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from Loughborough University in the UK and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems from Cranfield University, also in the UK.
Both Duvall and Gardiner will transition into their new roles during the second quarter of 2008.
