GE's Rail Services Unit Announces New Commercial Leadership Appointments; Todd Emro and Tim Schitter bring decades of industry experience to the growing Rail Services unit of GE
Mr. Emro will also be responsible for expanding Rail Services'presence throughout North America as well as providing value-addedproducts and services to customers in North America. Prior to joiningGE, Mr. Emro was Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer ofPLM Transportation Equipment Corporation, a full service operatinglease company specializing in the North American tank car marketplace.Before joining PLM Transportation, Mr. Emro was Vice President andManaging Director, Fleet Management at GATX Rail, where he wasresponsible for overall fleet management responsibilities for the GATXNorth American rail operations. He holds a bachelor's degree inOrganizational Management from Calumet College.
GE also announced the appointment of Tim Schitter as StrategicAccount Manager for Rail Services in the Food, Agriculture & MineralSegment. Mr. Schitter, based in Dallas, TX, will have overallresponsibility for leasing sales and selling services in the food,agricultural, and mineral marketplace.
Prior to joining GE, Mr. Schitter was Senior Vice President ofsales at Trinity Rail. Over the course of 17 years at Trinity Rail,Mr. Schitter became responsible for developing and directing thenational sales force with respect to the sales and lease of railcarsthroughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Schitter also has salesmanagement experience at Union Tank Car. He holds a bachelor's degreein Accounting from Indiana University.

The Rail Services unit of GE serves customers in the petroleum andchemical industries with more than 185,000 railcars and relatedservices, as well as a suite of financial products, includingfull-service and net leases. These full service and net leases providesome of the largest oil and gas companies across North and CentralAmerica with tailored services to meet individual customerrequirements.
