Gartner Inc. Q4 Income Climbs

(RTTNews) - Gartner Inc. (IT) released earnings for its fourth quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $108.04 million, or $1.17 per share. This was up from $81.22 million, or $0.97 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.32 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 44.3% to $1.01 billion. This was up from $0.70 billion last year.
