Board of Directors (Appointments and Changes) 08.09.2015

In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Vienna Insurance Group AG Wiener Versicherung Gruppe decided to expand its Managing Board.

With effect from 1 January 2016, Judit Havasi and Roland Gröll will be appointed to the Managing Board. Also with effect from 1 January 2016, Elisabeth Stadler and Gábor Lehel will be appointed as Deputy Members of the Managing Board. As with current Board Members, the term of the appointments will be until 30 June 2018.

Judit Havasi has worked for the Group since 2000. She began as an internal audit employee in UNION Biztosító, and became the head of this department in 2003. Before her appointment to the Managing Board of Wiener Städtische Versicherung in 2009, Judit Havasi was a Member of the Wiener Städtische Austria Committee in Vienna Insurance Group and a Member of the Managing Board of UNION Biztosító in Hungary. She has been Deputy General Manager of Wiener Städtische Versicherung since 2013. In addition, since 2011, she has also been a Deputy Member of Vienna Insurance Group's Managing Board.

Roland Gröll studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and joined Wiener Städtische Versicherung in 1994 in the area of Finance and Accounting. In 2003, he became Deputy Head of Finance and Accounting, a department which he has been leading for the Group since 2008 until now. In addition, Roland Gröll is active in Supervisory Boards of Group companies of Vienna Insurance Group.

Elisabeth Stadler, who since September 2014 has been the General Manager of Donau Versicherung, studied actuarial mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology and has made a career in the Austrian insurance industry as a Member and Chairwoman of Managing Boards. In May 2014, Elisabeth Stadler was awarded the title of 'Professor' for her services to the insurance industry by Federal Minister Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek.

Gábor Lehel, General Manager of UNION Biztosító, joined Vienna Insurance Group in 2003 as an employee of the General Secretariat. In 2005, he set-up the Group Controlling, before being appointed as Head of the General Secretariat in 2006. Gábor Lehel has been a Member of the UNION Biztosító Managing Board since 2008. He studied business management with an emphasis on finance in Tatabánya and Budapest.

The Vienna Insurance Group Managing Board will consist of the following Members as of 1 January 2016: -) General Manager Peter Hagen (CEO) -) Martin Simhandl, CFO -) Franz Fuchs -) Roland Gröll -) Judit Havasi -) Peter Höfinger
