DST Signs Industry Vet to Build Retirement Recordkeeping Sales

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Derek Winegard, a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, has joined the retirement recordkeeping sales team at DST Systems, Inc. As senior sales executive, Winegard will be responsible for developing new retirement plan recordkeeping business for DST and for Boston Financial Data Services, a DST joint venture offering outsourcing solutions to the retirement industry.

DST's retirement recordkeeping platform, TRAC, services nearly 4 million participants through 38 major institutional clients. It supports all major plan types and investment options.

Winegard brings extensive knowledge of the retirement industry to his role at DST. He has held senior sales and management positions at several major financial services firms, including Enterprise Capital Management, American Skandia, Quest for Value Funds, Royal Alliance and Trust Consultants, Inc.
