Barnes & Noble Inc Q3 Profit Advances 11%

(RTTNews) - Barnes & Noble Inc (BKS) announced earnings for its third quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $80.26 million, or $1.04 per share. This was up from $72.17 million, or $0.96 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 2.1% to $1.41 billion. This was down from $1.44 billion last year.
