ABN AMRO Banks on Ariba Spend Management; One of the World's Largest

SUNNYVALE, Calif. & AMSTERDAM, Netherlands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2005--Ariba(R) Inc. (Nasdaq:ARBA), the leading spend management solutions provider, today announced that ABN AMRO has selected Ariba(R) Spend Management solutions to facilitate contract compliance and consistency across its global procurement function. ABN AMRO, a leading international bank, also expects to increase savings and efficiencies through a completely integrated sourcing platform.
The company will use Ariba(R) Analysis(TM), Ariba(R) Sourcing(TM), Ariba(R) Contract Compliance(TM), Ariba(R) Contract Workbench(TM), and Ariba(R) Category Management(TM) throughout its global operations.
