OTTAWA, Dec. 19, 2017 /CNW/ - ProSlide Technology Inc® was once again recognized with top honours at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) expo in Orlando, Florida. The Double TornadoWAVE™ 60, the latest innovative water ride from the Ottawa-based company, received first place "Best New Product" in the water rides/attractions category at the prestigious Brass Ring Awards.

ProSlide® invented the TornadoWAVE™, the world's first wave wall ride, in 2011. Now ProSlide has doubled the thrills and doubled the impact with the new Double TornadoWAVE! Two massive walls dominate the skyscape and awe your guests, and the patented ProSlide ride experience keeps them coming back for more.

RIDE EXPERIENCE

The high-speed in-run cranks riders in 5-person rafts around back-to-back curves and dips, revving up the suspense before dropping them through a steep chute and onto the first WAVE! Rafts sweep up and across the curved wall, climbing higher and hanging in zero gravity longer than any other wall ride on the market.

From high up on the wall, the narrow out-run looks like the eye of a needle, but our ride path is designed to be predictable, even if raft weight varies. Before they've even caught their breath from the first awe-inspiring wave they are onto another one, once again sweeping up and across the massive curved wall and hanging in zero gravity for what seems another eternity.

The world's first Double TornadoWAVE 60 opened this May in Orlando, Florida. Over the next two years, more will open in Brazil, Spain, China and South Korea.
